Sinopsis
Ailey is forced by her stepmother to marry into the mysterious wealthy Dawn family, on the pretext of helping pay for her critically ill father's expensive medical bills. Ailey believes it to be nothing more than a marriage of convenience—unaware that the entire Dawn family is not even human. On the night of the wedding, she witnesses firsthand the betrayal of her lover Jasper and her stepsister Giselle, and realizes she has been reduced to nothing more than a discarded pawn. Just as Jasper attempts to assault her, her husband Alaric—a "living corpse" who has lain dormant for a century—suddenly awakens. Ailey thought she was merely sold into a wealthy family, but she never expected to stumble into an abyss of vampires, hunters, and an ancient prophecy.
